page 2 - the word 'disaster' is used
lets make this quite simple - an "EOC" is activated during a disaster
when the shit hits the fan - a 911 center or a emergency dispatch
center handles the regular ole day to day emergencies of police and
fire departments or some quaint bureaucracy / agency / division /
hackerama / goofballs in arms
an EOC usually coordinates between 2 or more agencies that do not
typically coordinate in a coordinated way by coordinated coordinators
who are ordained to do coordination stuff
its a matter of degree - like - she is red faced - vs - she is really red faced
