the newest OES Type 1 engines have 1500 gpm main pumps plus 800 gallon
water tanks
The Cal OES fleet currently consists of
117 Type 1 engines
65 Type 3 wildland engines
79 Type 6 wildland brush patrol trucks
12 water tenders
8 communications/command vehicles
12 Type 2 hazardous materials response units
6 regional USAR (urban search and rescue) trailers
13 swiftwater rescue teams, each consisting of a truck, trailer, and boat
