the fire started just south of that northern most map marker - about a
third way down to first group of burnt blds
everything east of that marker is city territory - everything to west
is county territory
maybe 50% of assessments done
los angeles county california
start date was january 7 2025
looks like the fire went south to the coast - and then east and west from there
the elevation at the fire start location is approx 1,100 feet - and of
course the coastline is 0 feet elevation - so its an all uphill run
from the closest city station to the start location
