that is the bay that faces alton st - which is where we remember it
being usually housed - on the mass ave side of the bld sat E1 E4 L1 -
with L1 in middle - all were this Mack style - 1954 for E1 and E4 iirc
- L1 was 1968 tractor maybe
maybe R1 and L1 had 2 people each - maybe E1 and E4 had 3 or 4 people each
street boxes got 2 engines and 1 ladder and probably R1 and Deputy
chief also - master boxes got 2 E + 2 L + R1 + C2 (car 55 in the old
days on 158.76 mhz iirc) - 1970s
HQ had E1 L1 R1 E4
Highland Station had E2 L2
Park Circle Station had E3 - maybe Ladder 3 in 1950s and 1960s - old
