0938 - tone sent - checking the availability of ALS
0938 - report that PD is onscene with a headon crash - and the PD requests North Andover (FD)
0940 - tone sent for crew to man Rescue 2
0940 - C5 enroute to station
0941 - Rescue 1 at scene - accident is in North Andover - will need Rescue 2 - need PD since road is blocked
0941 - dispatcher says that North Andover (FD) has been notified
0941 - Squad 5 at scene
0942 - C2 has 4 patients to be transported
0943 - Medic 58 arriving at station
0945 - Rescue 2 responding with 4 people
0946 - C2 requests a Pump
0946 - C2 calls North Andover A2 but gets no reply - they might have been just arriving at the scene
0948 - C2 to Fire Alarm - check (via telephone) to see if Lawrence General Hospital will accept 2 Priority2 and 2 Priority 3 - make it 4 Priority 2
0948 - Engine 3 on with 2
0949 - C2 to Rescue 2 - 1 Prioirty 2 patient for you
0949 - Rescue 2 at scene
0951 - Engine 3 at scene
0951 - LGH will accept all 4 patients per the charge nurse

Middleton FD operates a combination FD - paid men and call men - apparently they have 4 people in the station usually - 1 serves as the dispatcher - often they do not seem to have a medic in the station - the medics are paged (via radio) to calls often - Rescue 1 and Rescue 2 are ambulances - Squad 5 is a small utility type truck with EMS gear (maybe the ALS gear)
It took either 5 or 7 minutes to get R2 manned - depending on how you look at it.
On fire calls - the on duty (in the station) paid guys take E1. On EMS calls, the on duty paid guys take Rescue 1. I guess on MVAs, the on duty paid guys take Rescue 1 and Squad 5.
