"Sandy" Sanford

Sandy Sanford, long time SCCA race car builder, crew person, and sidekick of Chuck Allard passed away  on January 29th. after suffering a stroke last fall.  Sandy helped out a lot of racers over the years and will surely be missed at Summit Point.

For many years Sandy was frequently found enjoying refreshing beverages with his buddies in the late afternoons at Tolson Automotive in Rockville Maryland.  John Secan, the owner of Tolsons's, is having a get together Saturday February 15th at 1:00 pm at his shop to have a few beers in remembrance of Sandy.  John asked me to pass this along to Sandy's racing buddies.

If you can, let me or John know if you plan to be there so there will be enough  Miller Lite on hand.
