Hi all. An accusation is empty without proof. Please supply the proof. If you can't provide that, you are defaming Harold. 

You're saying J4F is a scam. 

One of the hallmarks of scammers is that they keep coming up with ways to get more money out of you.  I've been the victim of two such scams - both played out over years and involving thousands of people 

Yet, the last time Harold had any money coming in from any of us was when he said there were some available spots to purchase as a result of people getting their original money back. I was interested, then forgot about it for a while. By the time I remembered and asked Harold about it, there were only two spots left.  

When I  enquired some time later, Harold told me there were no spots left. If he was scamming, that was the perfect opportunity for him to get more money from me. But he didn't.

I know this has been a saga - about 17 years for most of us - and there were times I've wondered about it's authenticity. But honestly, if Harold was scamming us, why would he spend years getting no more money, and still communicating with us?  He should have disappeared by now - as any 'self-respecting' (read 'selfish') scammer would have.

But having been the victim of the two big scams mentioned above, of several smaller scams, and multiple solicitations that I didn't trust and which turned out to be scams, I've looked at j4f and concluded that it doesn't have the classic hallmarks of a scam (as I indicated above).

So, if you have solid evidence to the contrary, I'm open, but please don't just make speculative accusations that will raise the fear of loss into the hearts of some members, which has the potential to cause the collapse of the Club, even if the Club is legitimate.

Hi Susan,

All I have done is asked if anyone can confirm his address as the last I heard he was in Columbus, GA.  I have requested a refund back in November 2023 by completing the form and in June 2024 he wrote and said he would try to get the refund out that week.  We are only talking $1000 US and nothing for 11 months.  If you want me to forward the email of my request for refund which includes the form I can certainly do that or the email where he said he would try to get it out that week.  I am not talking about his character.  I have my personal reasons why I cannot wait any longer for a payout even though I waited all these years.

PS I understand you are writing to someone who replied to my email, but you did not write it to only them so i am responding before reading their email.

I can’t remember exactly what Harold said, but many years ago he said something that made me think this all has something to do with the currency reset which has been in play for many years.  If this is true, it’s completely out of Harold’s hands.

If anyone has foreign currency (Iraqi Dinar, Vietnamese Dong, Zim bonds, etc) you know what I’m referring to.  I’ve been on the currency reset roller coaster for nearly 15 years. 

I can’t say for sure, but I believe that once the global currency reset happens, Harold will then be able to do something.  That’s just my humble opinion.

Disappointing for your 93 year old friend, but he no longer has any care or thought about the money.

Let Harold recover, and then get on with the job. 

I'm in the same boat as many of you and could do with my deposit return. But clamoring, threatening, getting frustrated etc isn't good for you or for the club.

Hi all,

Why not wait and see if Harold returns my deposit.  It could speak volumes to people either way.  If he doesn't return my $1000 principle soon then even those who don't agree with the class action will sit up and take notice.  If he does return the principle then those who are eager to go ahead with the class action lawsuit might want to give it a pause.

With most lawsuits the only person who wins is the law firm.  Perhaps it is different here in the USA.  The best you can hope for is a 50% return on your principle.  If Harold doesn't have your principle then you are looking at a lot less return, although there would be the satisfaction knowing he'll get punished for misleading the group all these years.

Once again I think it best to wait and see if Harold returns at least my $1000 principle and then those who want their deposit returned can get in line.  He has asked me for my banking coordinates to send me a wire transfer, which I sent him some time ago.  I'll be sure to let the group know how that turns out.  I am slowly making my way to Harold's home in case he needs a little more encouragement.  Either way I will be sure to keep the group up to date.

Hi Stephen,

You are correct.  I wanted to let the group know there still has not been any refund or return of principle.  You would think since I have bit my tongue for all these years ( I think it has been about 20 years)  and even now I have not spoken ill of Harold after waiting well over a year for a refund, he would return my principle instead of a refund, and keep me in the group.  I should be one of the first "return of principle" anyway since I am member number 0707.
