Remove Share Button

I want to remove the share button in the thumbnail map, anyone can help me?

Hi, sorry for the late reply

At the moment the share and details are always visible.

There is a property called shareToolEnabled that is not passed to the maps grid here

so it would not picked up from the localConfig even if used

here you can see the changes that needed to achieve what you asked for

I'm not creating a PR because first i need to agree internally (if this needs to be applied to featured cards etc.)

i'll let you know if my proposal gets the green light

also you can try to hide those buttons, but i recommend to try to debug what parameters arrives to the ResourceCard here

The changes i've sent you in a previous link was hiding the share tool in the maps page card.

Do you need to remove it also for other cards?

I'm still having trouble hiding the SHARE button from maps as it allows direct access to our system's maps, could someone help me?

Hello Bruno!

I have also tried to remove the share button without success. Even when I build the mapstore.war  and 

disable the SharePlugin in plugins.js (SharePlugin: require('../plugins/Share') the button remains.

In my opinion this might be a bug in mapstore, as I am quite sure that I was able to remove the share in a older mapstore version back in 2020 ( my personal note is from 27.5.2020).

Maybe it's a mapstore bug anyway, as it doesn't make sense to remove the sharing plugin and keep it running.

Let's see if the developers fix this likely bug

I opened this issue to fix this:  https://github.com/geosolutions-it/MapStore2/issues/7126, you can follow the status of this task directly on GitHub.

JFI. the changes suggested by have to be applied to "Maps" plugin (that is the plugin that shows the map list in the home page).

The share plugin a different plugin, used in the resource page (e.g. map) to show the share window in the map viewer (or other contents).
