Hi I'm a beginner and I just want to print off maps with labels. The OS map I have is very dark so the labels don't show up even with different colours. I can't make them too big as there are a lot of them. Does anyone know how i can fade out the OS map so its grey and white rather than black and white. TIA

Hi
Â
What OS Mpas are you using?
If it’s one of their raster maps, you can change the display of the raster layer.
Check out this article on how to do that: MapInfo Monday: Making your base map grey
Â
Alternatively, you could insert a new layer at the top of the list of layers.
In this layer draw a polygon or rectangle that covers your area of interest.
Now change the style of the layer to by full white and set the transparency to say 75%
Â
That would tone down your base map layers and highlight all layers on top.
