Meet on Meadowbank Station concourse - Platform 1 side,  to start riding at 10am. Parking nearby in Bank St or Meadow Crescent.  Low km, yet the ride can take 2.75 hrs due to stops of interest. There is a cafe at the Station concourse for a coffee (if needs be) to start your day, as the coffee stop on the ride is quite late.

Ride Description

Leave Meadowbank Station concourse to cross Parramatta River via John Whitton Bridge. Ride Rhodes waterfront to access  the Parklands. See Lake Belvedere's fishways. See monument to Cyrus the Great, view a Trelliage, tell the time on a shadow dial, push our bikes on boardwalk over tidal Grey Badu Mangroves. See a waterbird refuge at a bird hide, divert to shipwreck look-out, ride up/down Bay Marker,  cross into Wentworth to ride the Promenade. F3 bail out  options at Olympic Park ferry terminal (8,28,48 mins past the hr towards City), otherwise continue riding after Coffee via Bennelong Bridge over to Rhodes waterfront and back to Meadowbank Station concourse.

Hi Wendy,

I am a new (push bike ) rider and this sounds like a suitable ride for me to start with. 

I am coming from Drummoyne and will aim to arrive at Meadowbank Station around 9.30 by car which should allow me time to unload/assemble my bike in time for a 10am start.
