The family of Reynold J. Plourde Jr., 78 Has requested the PGR provide an escort and stand in honor of their Hero.

Ray proudly served his country for 37 years, first in the Air Force when he enlisted in 1960 and served in Vietnam and Guam. In 1969, Ray joined the Air National Guard in Bangor where he served the remainder of his career working as a Technician for the 101st Air Refueling Wing. He was recognized on numerous occasions for outstanding service. Ray later retired in 1997 as a Master Sergeant.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2020, at the Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta, Maine 04330.
