I'm not presently on the island but the other lightkeepers report that a SNOWY OWL paid a brief visit to the island over the weekend.
I suspect that this individual is currently somewhere in mid-coast Maine. Perhaps it's one of the "regulars" checking into its southern winter retreat.

Maybe it's the one we saw today sitting on the rocks at Fortunes Rocks.
