Red-shouldered Hawk - Kennebunk

A Red-shouldered Hawk came through my yard in Kennebunk this morning. First time I have seen one here in January. It came close to catching one of the incredibly fat gray squirrels under the feeder, but just missed.

That's awesome! We've had one here the last two winters - on and off - hunting /scavenging / and sunning :)
