A male and female pair were feeding in one of our crabapples yesterday in late afternoon, here in West Newfield.

Group of 6 Pine grosbeaks in the balm of Gilead poplars at work today in Belfast, eating the leaf buds.

Had 9 of them this morning at the Bangor Target store. Crabapple trees between Target and the former Home Depot.

Those crabapple trees are a good bet for Cedar Waxwings some years, too.
