Hi all,

At 6:40 PM I noticed a large group of CONIs flyover the river between South Portland and Portland heading west towards the Western Prom. The slow and steady stream continued for over 45 minutes. My individual count came out to be 612 CONIs, however I did not catch the very beginning so there were likely more. Pretty amazing sight!

I didn’t count but we had a couple of hours watching them last night in Cape Neddick. One of my favorite birds!

Jeff and I pulled off the road last night in Harpswell to count nighthawks we saw streaming over. We counted 190 in one location and 60+ in another.

Amazing scene.

Had a small flock of 8ish here in Brunswick (though I was driving and couldn’t count/look closer).
