My husband Paul spotted a loon off Pulpit Rock on Monhegan Island this morning that I was able to photograph and which Derek Lovitch later ID’ed from the photos as a Pacific Loon. Not sure of any other island records of this bird, which was last seen way offshore and almost out of visible range. (Will post photos to eBird too.)--
