We saw FOY tree swallows today above our house in West Kennebunk. That seems weirdly early but maybe that's just me.
Also, a FOY phoebe calling on Holland Road in West K.

I usually get a few before the end of March here in central Maine. I had one lone individual last week in Fairfield. But the weather has not been conducive this year for early migrants. I usually get Phoebe by the end of March, as well, but not this year. Oddly, I had a very early Sapsucker the last week of March.

Here on E Pond Rd in Nobleboro I was surprised to see the familiar wagging tail. No flying insects to feed on.
