FOY Phoebe and Tree Swallows

We saw FOY tree swallows today above our house in West Kennebunk. That seems weirdly early but maybe that's just me.

Also, a FOY phoebe calling on Holland Road in West K.

I usually get a few before the end of March here in central Maine.  I had one lone individual last week in Fairfield.  But the weather has not been conducive this year for early migrants.  I usually get Phoebe by the end of March, as well, but not this year.  Oddly, I had a very early Sapsucker the last week of March.

Yes, one of "our" Phoebes arrived today and was checking out the driveway side nest locations!

Apologies for not including town in first reply.

Here on E Pond Rd in Nobleboro I was surprised to see the familiar wagging tail. No flying insects to feed on.

Yes, one of "our" Phoebes arrived today and was checking out the driveway side nest locations!
