FOS vocalizations anyone?

I'd like to add first of spring audibles to the listserv exchange if anyone's interested. Today's walk in Southwest Harbor yielded FOS Mourning Dove song, FOS Dark-eyed Junco trill from atop a conifer, FOS rapid-fire R-b Nuthatch song, and FOS strutting and vocalizing turkeys.

Yesterday we saw and heard a single Canada Goose in Cherryfield, downeast Maine, flying up the Narraguagus River.

I've had cardinals and titmice singing for a few days. A pair of Carolina wrens have appeared at my feeders early the last few mornings, one coming first and singing loud and clear, the second appearing on cue.

This morning my local song sparrow is singing loudly.
