Dovekies at PerkinsCove?

A friend who doesn’t know birds at all just sent me a distant photo on text message of “white and black ducks”. 😏 She says she can’t send it to email...strange. Anyway, they sort of look, from a tiny photo, like Dovkies. Possible still? They’ve been around, but not real common? Shoulda been there with my scope.
Thanks for help with an iffy question.

Certainly Common Eiders are all over there by Perkins Cove - not sure how big they are?
