I visited Parsons Beach in Kennebunk today and, after taking two and a half hours to figure out I was searching in the wrong place, succeeded in locating the continuing BLUE GROSBEAK foraging with some sparrows along the road by the horse paddocks. I also found a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW in the same place, a welcome bonus bird.

I was also intrigued by 16 Red-throated Loons, in groups of 1, 4, and 11, that were vocalizing while flying high over the marsh near the parking area. Definitely the first time I've heard a RTLO!

Good to know it’s there! I searched right there by the (empty) paddock with no luck yesterday... up to a driveway. No birds at all, except Black-bellied Plover and a couple other shorebirds in the marsh.
Were you there in the morning? I and a couple others were along the road close to 3-4 pm. Missed a life bird, but loved being out.

Sorry, forgot to mention the time in my post! I was there from 11:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., and saw the Blue Grosbeak just after 2:00.
