Walked down my road this afternoon and had:

a rose breasted grosbeak -- first of the year
great looks at a northern waterthrush skulking in my neighbor's forested wetland
a catbird
flickers
a yellow bellied sapsucker
and the usual suspects: chickadees, song sparrows, chipping sparrows, bluejays, grackles, mourning doves. It was a little birdier than anticipated.

When I walked the opposite way yesterday, I had foy n. parula, foy black throated blue warbler, foy ovenbirds (3!), black and white warblers, a white breasted nuthatch, and a hermit thrush.

I also had a white crowned sparrow at my feeder passing through.
