Common Nighthawks, Pownal

25 or so Common Nighthawks flying low over the Short Stop in Pownal around 4:34pm. Headed south!

Looks like a big flight underway...about 100 over Pineland Farms at the corner of Rte 231 and Allen Road in New Gloucester!

Sorry for the extra post, but I just drove back through the aforementioned intersection and the feeding swarm of nighthawks is on the order over several hundred now. It’s quite a show.
