FOY eastern phoebe (will nest in barn) and great blue heron, 4/4 in Hollis. Incidentally same day a fisher peaked in and then an otter up from the Saco helped break the last skim ice on our pond. This is only our fifth spring but we would have expected a hooded merganser pair, a Canada goose pair and some wood ducks and mallards by now. With the ice finally out today we'll see. Bird Buddy claims to have counted a cowbird but I won't vouch for it. The bat nursery in the barn should also get active in a couple of weeks.
