I'm seeing some posts about FOY Bluebirds, but here in southern Maine we're fortunate to have some around throughout the year. I've put together a bit of a love note to Bluebirds that includes some thoughts about changing migration patterns. Some on the list may enjoy reading it:

"The bluebird carries the sky on his back." Thank you Paul Wells for reminding me of this quote. My bluebirds stayed all winter even up here in Central Maine (Sidney) this year—at least four, though I’m not sure if they all survived. Am seeing two regularly now. They have been roosting in our nestboxes, which now need cleaning out for actual nesting. I never catch the sneaky buggers emerging in the morning, but I have evidence they’ve been there :)

There have been a few around in Central Maine all winter as well, in Clinton, to be specific.

Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth is a reliable spot to see them year-round.  In breeding season the oak trees blanketing the ridge (where the open-air building containing picnic tables is located) and nest boxes is a great habitat for them, and they are plentiful and easy to find.    During the most inhospitable parts of the winter, even with the wind whipping off the ocean, small flocks can usually be found there and at other spots in the park.

Have had 4-6 here in Saco all winter. Dined on plenty of meal worms and suet. Also nested very close by last year. Sharon in Saco
