There is currently a male Red-winged Blackbird singing at Mainly Pawn in Damariscotta. Earliest record for me.

There are now 2 males at this location singing away. Music to my ears!!!!

One in Hiram this morning as well.  Chipping Sparrows until mid-November, White-throated Sparrow flocks in January.... it seems like the birds this past year have been generally opposed to the idea of winter.
