Greetings,

Things are beginning to get a little more varied around the house and 'hood.

Yard: our resident (?) Phoebes have been around for a while; a Towhee has made a couple of appearances; we've had quick glimpses of single Pine and Yellow-rumped Warblers; at least one Flicker; the occasional White-throated Sparrow, along with Chipping and Song; a pair of House Finches have set up housekeeping in a nest on top of one of the wreaths my wife hangs in the front of the house (4 eggs).

At the Maguire Road section of the Kennebunk Plains this (windy) afternoon: 3-4 Kestrels; a probable Merlin (no scope); a couple pair of Bluebirds; possible Field and Vesper Sparrows (one each); two Meadowlarks (yay!).
