If you have troble seeing my first post:
May be an image of 1 person, outdoors and text that says '2:36 ≡ facebook Maine (and Beyond) Steller's Sea Eagle Stacy Hildreth 19m Steller's back in Maine!! Seen 12:45pm EST 2/4/23 from the bridge over Back River looking North. Hwy 127 (Five Islands Rd) in Arrowsic. Not a great picture (cell phone through binoculars). 100% identifiable as flew east to west and perched the yellow circle area and then flew back around the corner out of view to the east. Before anyone goes chasing, there's some question about the date of this sighting/post. Confirmation would be in order.

I had asked directly for more details and received them from Ralph Eldridge.
They just came to me in screenshot form though so I'll summarize.

It was seen in Maine at 12:45 today
Looking N from the Back River Bridge on RT 127 in Arrowsic. Landed in a tree long enough for a poor cell/bino photo then flew out of sight.
Maybe we'll hear more.
Is there still a dedicated list for the eagle in Maine?

Steve
