Maine Audubon ED Andy Beahm sent me a photo he took while kayaking at 7:30 this morning of an American White Pelican. He said the bird is at a place called Seal Ledge, about a third of a mile off Mackworth Island. I do not know if it’s visible from Mackworth or elsewhere.

The/a American White Pelican flew over the road to the junk pond at Evergreen Cemetery around 8:35AM. A nice surprise for our bird walk!

Good birding,

Heading east-northeast. Highland Lake or Sebago Lake might be worth checking.
