DCBA June Meeting

Hi All,

Our June meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the club apiary.  We'll start a little earlier than normal for introductions and club business, so if you're running a little late you won't miss the hive inspections. 

We'll be inspecting the 11 new starts that we set up this week with virgin (VSH) queens from Lloyd Street Bees to remove queen cells and remove the caps from the queen cages so that the bees can release the new queens.  In the case of rain, bring umbrellas: we need to get this done!  I may also share a queen-rearing setup that I've used successfully for quite a few years.  

Make sure to bring your bee suits and any questions you have.   The apiary is just East of 10101 N Casey Rd, Evansville, WI 53536 (Agrecol) on West Caledonia Rd.
