I’m sure it IS Phil’s fault, but as I was baffled by it too, I thought I’d ask ChatGPT what it might be. Here’s what it suggested:

It suggests you could disable Handoff, but that’s SUCH a useful feature to be able to do things like copy and paste between devices, I wouldn’t want to give it up.
Is it possible it is being triggered by hovering over numbers?
