The Chesapeake Wheelmen (Est 1946) invite you to our 77th Annual ( casual )Dinner.

4 PM ( doors open at 3 PM ) For those attending from the DC & Pa area we start early and finish early so you can make a safe drive home.

Maybe a mile from the Baltimore Beltway / Loch Raven Blvd exit.

 

A throw back to the 1960's Lounge. Plenty of 1960's Colts and O's photo's on the wall.

Small cash BAR near the entrance to Johnny Dee's Banquet Room.

Plenty of Chicken Johnny Dee, Pasta, veggies, salad and gourmet cupcakes, coffee and soda

 

$30.00 ea cash at the door.

A celebration of bike racing history in the Baltimore area and recognizing our club champions.

This year we have a Wall of Fame display photo's ( B &W) Mid -Atlantic  action  photo's taken during the late 40's , 50's and 60's. 

 

Be amazed at the equipment and clothing for racing.

All the bikes used for road races from that period where fixed gear ( one gear) and no brakes were the norm.

 

Plenty of Art & Jimmy Lauf photo's. These brothers dominated local racing.

Art was a 3 time BAR Champ.

Jimmy went on to win the 1948 ABL of A Nationals, member of the 1952 Olympic Cycling team and was the first American to win a stage in the Tour of Mexico.
