Hello, I am having an issue with an LX8000: tasks can be declared, security seal is ok, and yet no flight appears in the logbook once landed. It stopped recording in June and there are only about 20 other flights in memory with a 6sec recording interval, there is an SD card in the system as well. I have checked the settings but cannot solve the issue. Any ideas? Thanks.

We have recently received several reports regarding older LX8000 and LX9000 devices displaying incorrect dates, typically reverting to November 2005. After investigation, we have identified that this issue commonly occurs in devices equipped with the uBlox LEA-4S GPS module, due to a firmware bug inside the GPS receiver.
If you are unable to find your flight after landing or notice the incorrect date on the Info page, it is likely your device is affected by this GPS issue. We have developed a temporary software fix to address the problem. In the next few weeks, we will come back to you with a final solution. In the meantime, please follow the instructions below based on your device generation:
