Lucee & Oracle 11 or 12

Has somebody already tried Lucee with Oracle 11 or 12?

I can’t connect anymore with the same drivers as used in the old Railo installation.

 

Steps tried with Oracle 12.1.0.1

 

ojdbc6.jar (with JDK 6) – no Oracle datasources visible in the Lucee datasource administration

ojdbc7.jar (with JDK 7) – no Oracle datasources visible in the Lucee datasource administration

ojdbc14.jar (old drivers for 10g) – Oracle datasources ARE visible in the Lucee datasource administration

                but I get the connection error: “ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol exception”

I forgot to switch to JDK 7, it works with ojdbc7.jar and JDK 7

Remember the thin client drivers do not support ref cursors in resultsets natively. You need to use the thick client which requires an OS install or a type 5 jdbc driver like datadirect.
