Dear Amir,
See if this presentation is of some help:
Ballistic performance of vehicle armor layered metallic plates was investigated. The modified
Johnson-Cook material model (*MAT_107) was used (data included) for all material parts. The
simple Cockroft-Latham failure model was employed for failure. Element type and hourglass
formulations were studied for their effect on results accuracy. A mesh sensitivity study was
done for four different mesh sizes. The element size was changed through the thickness
direction with residual velocity comparisons made:

Dear Amir,
E0DOT - Quasi-static threshold strain rate (𝜀̇0 = 𝑝̇0 = 𝑟̇0); see Equation (107.12) = 5.0e-4
See description for EPS0 in *MAT_015.
