Hi,
Using LS-Run, I can press the SW3 switch to dump a d3full and resume the computation.
Is there a keyword option to create d3full files automatically, for example, every few hours?
The options below don’t work.
P.S. I’ve read the manual, Google, and two posts here—they explain how to run a restart. I’m asking how to force automatic d3full dumps while LS-DYNA is running, ideally via a keyword in the key file, because a night-time power outage could stop the job and I could lose all progress. This has already happened to me.
Kind regards,
Leszek

Why wouldn’t database cards work?
You can also do this outside the input file by sending a d3kill command via VS code every x number of hours. Every time a d3kill file is placed in the working directory, it will generate a dump file (100 cycles).

Would it be easy / possible to add a tool that automatically changes the unit system for each material card, after asking the user which system they are using?
