Same source without reference sample

Hello everyone,

Is it possible in LrMix to compare if two unkown samples come from the same source without having a reference sample?

 

The question I need to answer is if two profiles (each one with it's own dropout and drop-in) can be from the same person.

Hi Julian,

What you could do is use one of the samples as your crime-sample profile, and then use the other as a known profile, that way you could indirectly evaluate how well the profiles could explain each other, as compared to an alternative unrelated unknown profile. 

The summary option in the software could also help you to visually compare the samples.
