Motion and Second Endorse Scott Gesty

John Machurek has moved to endorse Scott Gesty for Brandywine School Board, Nadine Frost second. A quorum has heard the motion, and we’ve had no discussion/debate so far. I’m opening it for a vote. We’ll call the motion when we have a majority, but leave it open until the earliest of all votes received, or 3/7@2000.

On a separate, but related note, we’re looking at migrating to Discord for public accountability. It meets our needs for having assigned roles and providing a central place for party communication. There is a poll in the State Board Channel on this motion, but this email chain will serve as the official tally. I believe Brad and Jimmy are the only ones left who haven’t accessed the app/page. The motion carries 5-0-1-3. This thread will continue until 2000 tomorrow night to record votes. 

We’re going to discontinue using Signal for ad hoc business and move it over to discord. We have two more motions on deck, and we’re going to test exclusive use of the polling function. Thank you for your patience with App Overload.
