Hello,

I have a P1 knx counter. There is an index for the total energy consumption.
This index unit is kW and is increasing since the start of the installation.

I have a bidirectional counter using the following values and connected to an energy flow monitor

On 1/1/2024 it was something like 20.000.(15000+5000offset)
On 31/12/2024 it was something like 24.000 (19000+5000offset)
Today it was something like 28500 (23500+5000offset).
So I was expected an annual consumption for 2025 to be 4.5MWh

However the yearly consumption in the Meter Bidrectional is 23.5MWh (which is the total amount of electricity consumed since the start of the counter and not since the start of the year).

Look at the Rlmc property that seems completely wrong.
However when I look at this data in the loxone app (total consumption for June 2025), the value is different:

What do you think? Do I need to reset the counter on New year eve?

Thank you

Where is your consumption meter wired in, relative to your PV generation?
The Loxone "meter bidirectional" is assumed to go between thr grid and the house, so "consumption" in that context should be the net import from grid, i.e. gross consumption less whatever PV is generating at that time.

If you are metering PV and true consumption you can derive the grid import export power from them  and use a meter block to sum the energy value over time .

All the values are retrieved from the P1 device connected to the "electricity company in a housing near the street"
MRC is the total electricity consumption since the start of the P1 device
MRD is the total electricity sent to my neighborhood when my PV produces more than what I consume. This value is also read by the P1 counter.
In this case I consume 23526kwh since 2023 and I send 11191 kwh to my neighborhood

Pf is an analog memory value of absolute instant power from this meter (+ for consumption, - for injection) and this values seems fine according to a comparison against my solaredge app (using solaredge meter)

My concern is that there seems to have a period issue between some values displayed in the loxone app (smartphone and live view)

Do you think I need to reset the counter once a year? Can I link Pf at the same time as (MRC and MRD)?

Ah ok it is a grid import/export meter then.
Did you implement the Loxone integration this year?
I expect what has happened is at some point loxone saw a zero value at the Mrc input, then subsequently when the meter was connected it saw the consumption to date value (19MWh ish) and so it has allocated all the energy consumed since start to this year. Going forward it shouldn't need resetting every year, It should show the correct values but you have this one anomaly for this year. I'm not aware of any way to fix that.

I started in 2023 without interruption.
I can move backward month by month in the loxone app and I see that the total consumption amount for a month is correct (320kwh month on average). However the total for a year is wrong and the live view has also weird values

I think that something is weird/corrupt in Loxone database.
I check another counter.

Check the last month value

This is the same counter in the app. Monthly data are ok but total year data are weird and does not correspond to the sum of each month

Can one of the last loxone update corrupt some data in the database?
