I have also read that it is possible to control a Velux roof light (of which I have two) via Loxberry, which in itself seems a good reason to adopt that software, but yet something else to get to grips with! Would appreciate opinions.
Thanks Ewan, really helpful. Turns out I need to buy a KLF200 as well as my Velux wall switch isn't capable of interfacing with a smart home at all,
I think the Integra centre pivot range. I've long since lost the original documentation. Your post isn't entirely clear if you're trying to wire the Velux windows or the additional external roller shutters? Presumably the roller shutters are in addition to the Velux windows.
There's been quite a few historical posts re control of Velux and how difficult (impossible?) that is, however, their introduction of the KLF200, specifically to interface with smart home technology has made it possible.
I don’t think its that straight forward with some of their products but do-able..

I’m not saying its difficult – Its a H Bridge that’s needed – job done.
I think the issue is when you look at the windows with the open close and vent position.
