Pinewood Derby and Weather

Hi Pack 22 families

We are watching the weather this weekend in case it impacts the pinewood Derby plans. If there is too much snow this evening we will be checking in cars starting one hour earlier on Saturday for those that cannot make it this evening. If the snow continues seriously on Saturday we will postpone the pinewood derby to Monday.

Hopefully the weather allows us to continue as planned . We will update you all later in the day.

The weather looks good for this evening check in. If you don't feel comfortable driving up this evening though you can check your car in the day of the pinewood derby. We will keep an eye on the weather and decide later this evening or tomorrow morning  if we want to go ahead tomorrow

Hello Pack 22 Families

It looks like there was not as much snow as expected overnight so we are going to go ahead and hold the Pinewood Derby today. If the weather changes dramatically and you are not able to attend, all the registered cars will be raced even if the scout is not present. Also if you have not registered your car yet, please arrive 15 minutes early to register. Registration will close at 2 and we won't be able to include more cars after that.
