Magnifica Humanits: Pope Leo XIV's message and Lonergan's legacy coincide

Hi,  I do believe that Lonerganians reading Pope Leo's message in his encyclical Magnifica Humanitas, his analysis of today's many problems and ongoing mindboggling transformations across the globe cannot but be impressed by the parallels between Lonergan's legacy and e. g. Leo's analyses and public comments during his present visit in Spain. I find that amazing. John

Dear John and Lonergan group colleagues:

I'm back to Copenhagen after attending the Lonergan Workshop. I thought to share my PP slides because we do get to benchmark the first time (to my knowledge) Lonergan has been explicitly cited in Democratic Party official documents. I'm separately attaching the Resolution itself, which passed with unanimous consent at the 30 May annual general meeting of Democrats Abroad (DK) in Nairobi, Kenya. 

I've been to the Workshops since 2008. A lot of scholars have passed, but new scholars are appearing. The phrase "Second reception" was being tossed about. 

Much obliged to this group for its steady endurance. While I'm listed a Resolution author, this is obviously (to me) the outcome of several different communities of scholars working to effect concrete, positive changes in culture.
