Hi All.
Per the title, does anyone know anyone who is capable of and wants to do some metal fabrication work? It’s a paid gig, obviously.
It’s basically building a bit of decking, like a short table of about 3 x 6 feet by 1 foot deep with a checker-plate (or similar non-slip) top. And, some gates to go over the front of an old brick bin-shed with an opening of about 4 x 3 feet.
My mother needs somewhere to store a mobility scooter at my parents’ place and the old bin-shed (redundant since the coming of wheelie bins) is it, hence the gates.
The problem is that there is a, concrete lined, recess of about 1 foot depth from both the shoulder of the path and the bottom of the bin shed, hence the decking to level it up so she can move the scooter in and out.
(And I would like a shackle tacked on somewhere for my bike.)
Will take some photos and get measurements if anyone is interested.
Joe

My main line of work is mobile welding on boats but I have a workshop in Rickmansworth. This sounds like something I can help with. Let me know when you’re free and I can come round for a measure up and go from there. Cheers
