About an hour ago, I saw what appears to be one of the above sitting on the wall outside 29/31 Birchington Road NW6 (the one down by the side of Iceland).

It appears to be a stack of several (4-5?) boards soldered vertically together with several banks of cores on each. I'd guess it's from a late '60s/early '70s computer.

I wasn't in a position to take it myself but it's pretty small - it appears to be mounted on an A4 size frame.

I know that it's late but if anyone wants it I suggest that they proceed with all dispatch - the weather's not great and I don't know when the bins come round there.

Regards.

Joe

Not much use to anyone nowadays, unless they're planning on building a 60s/70s computer and have a VERY large room and an even larger budget. The only people who may be interested in it would be the Computer Museum at Bletchley Park.

No, it's lovely stuff. many collectors of old computer gear would love it.
What's weird is that it's sitting on a wall .. you'll pay a lot for it on ebay because it's so rare now.

It was mounted on a frame, upon which there had clearly been a caption explaining what it was which had since fallen off.
Maybe someone was clearing out a property and found it and didn't know what it was but thought it might be significant so decided to leave it out of the bins?
