Hi all,

 

Perth Children’s Hospital has just released an EOI for a P2 Senior Speech Pathologist for a Fixed Term, Part Time appointment for 15 months at 0.5-0.6 FTE. This is only open to WA Health employees so if you work in CAHS (CDS/CAMHS/PCH), WACHS, North Metro or South Metro services and are interested in joining us at PCH we’d love to hear from you!

 

The position is in our Cochlear Implant team that sits under the Children’s Hearing Implant Program (CHIP). CHIP is made up of ENT Surgeons, Audiologists and Speech Pathologists. We are a close knit, supportive multidisciplinary team with decades of combined experience managing hearing implants in children.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Speech Pathologist with more than 2 years’ experience providing language intervention in an EI population to join us. We would love to hear from an application with experience working with children with hearing loss or experience in providing auditory verbal therapy, however if you have an interest in cochlear implants or hearing loss, we’d really encourage you to apply. We are asking for interested Speechies to send your resume/CV and a 2 page summary addressing the following key criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills in paediatric speech pathology practice, particularly with an early intervention population who present with communication difficulties.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with children and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Skills and experience with working with multidisciplinary teams in effective caseload management and well-established interpersonal skills.

Morning all! 

Perth Children’s Hospital has just released an EOI for a P1 Speech Pathologist for a Fixed Term, Full Time 1.0 FTE role. 


This is only open to WA Health employees so if you work in CAHS (CDS/CAMHS/PCH), WACHS, North Metro or South Metro services and are interested in joining us at PCH I would love to hear from you!

 

The position is in our Cleft Lip and Palate (CLP) team. The role is working with me and two other Speech Pathologists. The PCH CLP unit is a team made up of Plastic Surgeons, ENTs, Dental, and Speech Pathology clinicians. We work closely together with children and adults who have a CLP and/or present with velopharyngeal dysfunction. The Unit has decades of experience managing and supporting people with CLP. 

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with more than 2 years’ experience providing communication intervention, particularly in the articulation and speech sound disorder population. We provide training in this specialist field of speech pathology practice, so please get in touch if you are interested. Applicants with experience in assessment and intervention of VPD will be looked on favourably.


We are asking for interested Speechies to send your resume/CV and only a 1 page summary addressing the following key criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills in paediatric speech pathology practice, particularly with children presenting with articulation and speech sound disorders.
  • Skills and experience with working with multidisciplinary teams in effective caseload management and well-established interpersonal skills.

     

    The closing date is today Friday 11th August at 4.00pm and this position is only available to internal WA Health applications only.
