Hi all
After an abortive attempt in 2019, Edinburgh are having another go at revamping their airspace proposals for the next few decades.
It promises to be an exhaustive, and exhausting, process, with I think about another 18 rounds of consultation to plough through
There is, they say, an online engagement platform which lets anyone view all the documentation and steps so far. However although they claim they are being wholly transparent , it appears to me that you can't actually see that platform without registering with them and getting a u/n and password.
I have that, so if anyone is burningly interested, I can share that or can supply a name & email you can apply to to get your own.
Thus far the main aims would appear to favour us ( by having the possibility of the corridor "floor"between Edin & Glasgow ATCs raised, making a North/South ( or South /North ) transition more of a possibility). Some other things might affect us a bit, but bluntly not as much as drone traffic is likely to hurt us.
Kevin is monitoring the corresponding work on Glasgow airspace .
