Problems upload experiment own server

Hello everyone,

I'm struggling to upload my experiment to a server in my university lab. I'm having trouble accessing the controlpage.php . I've attached a screenshot. What data should I enter in the credentials.php file to correctly access the database creation process?

And especially since then, I've read about other issues in the forum that I'm not sure are resolved by upgrading my server to PHP version 7.x instead of 8.x.(mine is php 8.0.1)

Can anyone please help me or have a step-by-step guide to get my experiment online?

Hi Donato,

You should allow the server to write to the credentials file. Right click the file in your explorer (I use WinSCP to put files on the server), and select Properties, and fill out 7777 to allow all rights (screenshot below in Dutch, sorry!).

The database can be created when you fill out your server’s password for the MySQL. If your server is managed by the university’s IT, they should be able to give you that password.

Let me know if this sorts out things.
