STUCK IN A SYNTAX OF UNIX SOCKET PROGROMMING

Can someone please explain me what does this (struct sockaddr*)&serveraddr mean in CONNECT system call in the following code. I'm reading this syntax for the first time, can someone explain?

This isn't actually anything Linux specific, as that code is used in C/C#/C++. Here's a quick article about C sockets, https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/socket-programming-cc/. If you need anything more in-depth then it's probably best to ask in a programming group.
