I am running Ubuntu 24.04 on Virtual Box. Why is it running so slow? My host OS is Windows 11. No audio. Also wifi is not showing up.

8GB RAM 60GB HDD (dynamic)

I am trying to learn Ubuntu from Windows Background. Any help is appreciated.

When I am opening Firefox, experience is too slow. Not as responsive as it is in Windows11 (host).
Here is the summary from my VM
System Settings
- Base Memory: 8192 MB (8 GB)
- Processors: 5 CPUs
- Boot Order: Hard Disk
- Acceleration: Nested Paging, KVM, Paravirtualization
Display Settings
- Video Memory: 196 MB
- Graphics Controller: VMSVGA
- 3D Acceleration: Enabled
- Remote Desktop Server: Disabled
- Recording: Disabled
Storage Configuration
- IDE Controller
- Secondary Device 0: Optical Drive with VBoxGuestAdditions.iso (58.54 MB)
- SATA Controller

Audio
- Host Driver: Default
- Controller: ICH AC97

As for my laptop I am using a Windows 11 laptop with AMD Ryzen 5 7530U Radeon Graphics with 16GB RAM, 512 GB HDD with  AMD Radeon (TM) Graphics IGPU.

Two things to try:
1. Try changing the Graphics adapter, I use VBoxSVGA with no 3D acceleration on my Windows VMs which works well
2. Try installing the Guest additions into the VM. I see you have the ISO connected, but just make sure you installed the software in the VM
