Hi
I am reviewing the outputs of the tool and I would like to know if I understood correctly one of the results of the table "Sp1_cor_linkTable_s5_plus", which is generated in output. I understand that there are the distances and costs calculated for each link, and there is a column called "cwdToEucRatio" that from what I understood, I can consider its values as an metric of the quality of the corridor. Is that so?

Thanks

Regards

Florencia

Hi Florencia,

Yes indeed!  It is an indication of "permeability".  Linkages that go through a lot of low resistance habitat are more "permable" than linkages that go through a lot of high resistance habitat.  Do a visual inspection to make sure you are getting the valuation ratio correct.

The above is one of about a dozen easily quantifiable factors that can indicate linkage quality.  For the others, and their weighted combinations, use the linkage priority tool.  (THis is a metric within that tool as well.)

Cheers!

John

Hi John,

Thank you for your early response and clarifying! I’ll make sure to visually inspect the linkages to confirm the correct valuation ratio for permeability.

I appreciate the guidance!

Best regards,
Florencia
