I don’t use transactions in my code, but I assumed Lightning did, because if a user makes entries in an included enterable list form, then clicks the parent record’s cancel button, the data entered in the included form is not saved. If not with a transaction in Lightning, then how is that done?

structure that will only be committed when the user clicks save, then you
